• JAMB/UTME = 50% – 60%

• WAEC/NECO = 30% – 40%

• Post-UTME = 10% – 20% (where applicable)

Let’s say:

• JAMB: 280

• WAEC: 20 points out of 30

• Post-UTME: 70 out of 100 (if applicable) because many universities don't conduct post-utme . But you must buy the form, is a kind of way to generate money for the school.

The weighted average might be:

• (JAMB score / 400) × 50

• (WAEC score / 30) × 30

• (Post-UTME / 100) × 20

If no Post-UTME is conducted , some schools just do:

Aggregate Score = (JAMB Score / 8) + (WAEC points / 2)

(since JAMB is over 400 and WAEC points are over 20, so 400/8=50; 20/2=10)

For JAMB 280 and WAEC 20:

• (280 / 8) = 35

• (20 / 2) = 10

• Aggregate = 35 + 10 = 45%
